In 2019, ABC aired shocking footage purporting to be from the frontline battle between the Syrian Kurds and the invading Turks.
The only problem is, the footage actually came from a nighttime machine gun demonstration at the Knob Creek Gun Range in West Point, Kentucky.
ABC aired footage recorded in the Bluegrass State and claimed it was from Syria during one of its primetime segments, manipulating the footage to present itself as clashes in Syria to fit their narrative.
